In recent years, I have invested a lot of time in producing content: recording podcasts, writing on multiple social media platforms, and creating videos on TikTok (where I had 14K subscribers in PT-BR) and YouTube (where I also had almost 3K subscribers in PT-BR).
Outside of content creation, I have explored many different paths. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a football player. I also tried Taekwondo before shifting my focus to gaming. Through gaming, I discovered technology, which led me to the path I have been walking for more than 15 years. Every experience, whether it worked out or not, has helped me to be where I am today.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned from this journey is that trying things that aren’t meant for me has brought me closer to what truly is. By experiencing and eliminating what doesn’t align with me, I’ve been able to discover where my essence as a human being lies or tends to be.
What I’m doing on this Substack is a result of this transformation. I’m letting go of some past choices that helped me get here, but that I now need to move beyond to achieve what’s next. I’m shifting my focus from creating content about tech with a foreign accent niche to producing content about tech and Union. That’s why I created this avatar: DevYogi. "Dev" represents my tech side, and "Yogi" symbolizes Yoga, which means unity with the whole universe.
You could also see it this way: before, I was unintentionally creating divisions, focusing on accents as a differentiator. Now, I want to bring people together, no matter their accents, because, in the end, we are all part of the same organism, the same universe, we are all human beings trying to evolve.
Also, I don’t have a planned schedule or posting agenda for this new idea.
I will post when I feel called to. I invite you to watch the first video on my YouTube channel, where I share how I went from starting from zero in tech in Brazil to becoming Canadian:
Fun fact:
I pasted the subtitle of this article on Google to check if the English was correct and made sense, and check what AI answered me:
Coming next:
I will create a post about how I was able to create a game by using AI (Cursor + Claude). I am impressed by the result of 3 weeks of working hard on this challenge. Soon I will share with you how you can learn from my mistakes to also create things using AI! :)
